Phase 1 – Concept Validation & Prototype Development

1. Timeline: Q1 – Q2 2025

2. Objectives:

• Creation of a complete whitepaper and its consultation with key Terra Classic stakeholders (Validators, L2's, Developers)

• Finding a development team that will undertake the design and implementation of the UST Protocol, if it is accepted in the Terra Classic governance process.

• Official and public discussion on the project and governance voting on its financing.

• Finalize technical architecture and smart contract design on Terra Classic L1/L2.

• Develop and deploy a working prototype on a testnet environment.

• Initiate third-party audits and security assessments.

• Engage with the Terra Classic community to gather feedback and initial proposals.

Phase 2 – Mainnet Launch & Early Adoption

1. Timeline: Q3 - Q4 2025

2. Objectives:

• Deploy UST Protocol on Terra Classic L1.

• Launch full minting, redemption, and yield distribution functionalities.

• Establish strategic integrations with major DEXs, wallet providers, and liquidity aggregators within the Terra ecosystem.

• Roll out initial incentive programs in alignment with Terra Classic Governance.

Phase 3 – Ecosystem Expansion & Optimization

1. Timeline: Q1 – Q2 2026

2. Objectives:

• Expand yield-generation strategies and diversify collateral allocations as the protocol scales.

• Enhance cross-chain interoperability via IBC and optional EVM bridges.

• Continuously optimize protocol performance based on real-time data and community feedback.

• Further integrate USTD with broader Terra Classic ecosystem initiatives through coordinated governance proposals.

Long-Term Vision
